About Auto Trim Hawaii

Although opening for business in Hawaii in 1989, Auto Trim Hawaii has roots in the industry that go back to the 1970’s. Owner Sean Jones recalls,” My father ran a Trimline distributorship in Redding California, where my brother and I were always helping the guys install moldings, pin stripes, vinyl tops, or sunroofs. I remember one day around 1983, my dad handed me a box of window tint and said, 'You’re my new window tinter.'”

Back then, there was no one around to train me so I remember a lot of frustrating days practicing that craft. Little did I know that those days would lay a solid foundation for running my own business in the future. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Fast forward to present and you see Auto Trim Hawaii taking care of their auto dealership and private clientele’s restyling & reconditioning needs. There may be other shops in the area that perform one or more services, but what sets Auto Trim Hawaii apart is their ability to put together a unique “Package” of many products or services in which they are able to install or perform.

Over the years, Auto Trim Hawaii has invested much in training and specialized equipment. But the number one asset of their business isn’t the three vinyl and tint cutting plotters, nor is it the fleet of six vehicles that perform services on Oahu and the Big Island. “Our number one strength”, says owner Sean Jones, “ Is the crew of Auto Trim Hawaii. They have helped build the business and I publicly thank them for their hard work and the way they take care of our customers.”
